We supported the contest: “Desafío América, la matemática de los goles” promoted by the National Institute of Technological Education

With the aim of promoting Argentine talent through education, we sponsored the contest “Desafío América, la matemática de los goles”, which was held throughout the territory of the Argentine Republic.

This initiative, promoted by the Ministry of Human Capital of the Nation through the National Institute of Technological Education (INET), had as its main objective to motivate the learning of mathematics in secondary level students of Technical Professional Education (ETP), promoting the integration of knowledge from different disciplines.

The contest concluded in December with a ceremony in which our country manager for Argentina, Ramiro Guede, participated, along with other sponsoring companies and INET authorities such as: Ludovico Grillo, executive director; Gustavo Peltzer, director of Technical Professional Education; and Claudia Brain, director of Education, Work and Production.

At the awards ceremony and diploma presentation, which took place in the Multimedia Hall of INET, we delivered a 3D printer to the Technical Education School No. 5 “Amancio Williams” of the city of Mar del Plata, for having achieved first place in th second category, composed of students in the second cycle of high school. “We are proud to have the opportunity to work with local academic and government institutions such as INET in order to discover talented young people in the technological segment, providing them with educational opportunities so that they can continue to shape their professional profiles in the face of the current and future needs of the industry,” reflected Guede.

A total of 274 students from the first and second cycle of high school participated in the competition, from 41 technical schools and 19 jurisdictions from all over the country.
