With the conviction that investing in people and their education is vital, we have been providing training programs for professionals and engineering students for over 20 years, aiming to align their skills with High-Tech industry standards.
This trajectory allowed us to observe significant problems in the educational ecosystem of the region, both in schools and universities, enabling our team of experts to analyze possibilities to address this issue.
This is how Jala University was created, as a way to continue the mission of training exceptional IT talents
We started by planning a traditional campus model, but the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic transformed our initial idea into an online approach.
In 2021, we received exemption from the Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education (BPPE) of the State of California, and since then, Jala University has operated as an institution based in the United States, offering high-quality technological education to students worldwide.
Thanks to the alliance with the Foundation of Knowledge, Jala University has the support of high-tech partners in the software industry such as Jalasoft, the renowned nearshore outsourcing company. With this alliance, all our students receive a full scholarship to train at no cost and are hired for full-time jobs upon completing their studies

For many years, education has been neglected in many regions of Latin America, representing serious deficiencies compared to a highly competitive technological industry.

Jala University meets the requirements for exemption from regulation by Law, in accordance with the California Education Code (CEC) section 94874 (b)(1): 'An institution offering educational programs sponsored by a bona fide commercial, business, professional, or fraternal organization solely for the members of such organization.
