Two weeks ago, I had the great pleasure of experiencing a very special moment for our community: we held in Jujuy the First In-Person Gathering of Jala University Scholarship Students in Argentina. It was a day that, beyond bringing students together, allowed us to look each other in the eye, share experiences, and strengthen the sense of belonging to a project that bets on local talent and the future of technology in the region.

This gathering would not have been possible without the energy of our students and the support of strategic partners. We had the backing of the Provincial Directorate of Knowledge-Based Services, represented by María Belén Castro Agüero, and the collaboration of the gamer community Desafío Jujuy, led by Luis Raúl Pérez. They added a playful and dynamic component with virtual reality activities, arcade, and classic games that gave the day a unique and valuable touch.

Beyond the activities, what truly set the tone for the gathering were the messages we shared. Our CEO, Juan Salinas, along with members of the academic staff, reminded us of the importance of building a strong regional educational community with a forward-looking vision. Each word reinforced something we deeply feel: education is the engine that can transform our province and our region.

I want to pause on something that excites me especially: creating in-person spaces like this is much more than organizing an event. For many of our scholarship students from Jujuy, it was the first time they met their virtual classmates in person. Seeing those smiles, hearing their stories, and feeling the energy that comes when the community meets face-to-face is indescribable. For us, as a university, it’s enriching; for them, it’s a moment that reinforces motivation and a sense of belonging. Without a doubt, we will continue creating these opportunities in other provinces, because we know that this human connection is key to academic and professional growth.

A concrete example of what we are building is the story of Lucas Martínez, a student from Jujuy who invites other young people to join our informational sessions. Lucas is proof that these opportunities can become a true path for growth and development. Each scholarship, each virtual classroom, each in-person gathering has the same goal: to open doors so that more young people can train in technology and project themselves toward the future.

This commitment to education is not limited to Argentina. Jala University is also present in Bolivia, Colombia, Brazil, and Mexico, consolidating a network that seeks to strengthen Latin American talent and generate an international impact.

If you are young and dream of studying technology, I invite you to take the first step. You can register and participate in our informational sessions to learn more about our programs and scholarship opportunities. I am convinced that together we can build a community that transforms realities.
